Well, here is where Gadgetslam comes in as our team tries to ease the burden a little bit and narrow down the list for you. Today we will compare Oppo Reno 3 pro vs Huawei Nova 7i.
Introducing our Candidates:
Oppo Reno is one of the most renowned Oppo series, so a phone released under Umbrella of Reno will be a real deal. On the other hand, Huawei Nova 7i without a doubt is one of the best 2020 releases. The competition is on, and the battle is going to be fierce. Turn on your analysis mode, and let's delve into a brief comparison.

The price of Oppo reno 3 pro is around 30000 INR, 65000 PKR or 1800 AED. However, Nova 7i's retail price set at 44000 PKR or 20000 INR is way more budget-friendly. With a chasm between the retail prices, Nova 7i prevails.
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 3/5.
Huawei Nova 7i: 4/5.
Processor and Software:
Under the hood of Oppo Reno 3 pro is a MediaTek Helio P95 while Nova 7i houses a Kirin 810 octa-core chipset. Both processors have eight cores with the clock speed of Helio P95 a tad greater than Kirin 810. The difference couldn't be felt during day to day operation.
The Helio P95 is built on 12mm chip while Kirin 810 is built on a 7mm chip. A processor built on a small chip tends to be more efficient, so you can expect the Helio P95 to heat up after long or heavy usage. Believe me, you wouldn't want to hold a volcanic hot mobile set.
When talking about the gaming aspect, you can expect decent and smooth performance from both handsets. Both can play Pubg without lag on moderate to high settings. However, for Helio P95 you can expect the Oppo handset to heat up after a few hours of gameplay.
Coming to the obvious section of the article, Huawei nova 7i doesn't support GMS(google mobile services). Nova 7i comes integrated with Huawei's services. For Oppo Reno 3 pro there are no such issues, it comes equipped with GMS.
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 4/5
Huawei Nova 7i: 3.5/5
A bad camera can be a deal-breaker, luckily both handsets have embraced a magnificent rear Quad setup. Here is a quick comparison.
Primary Sensor: 48MP (Nova 7i) vs 64MP(Reno 3 pro).
Ultra-Wide Shooter: 8MP(Nova 7i) vs 8MP(Reno 3 pro).
Telephoto shooter: 13MP (Reno 3 pro).
Mono Sensor: 2MP (Reno 3 pro).
Macro and Depth Sensor: 2MP(Nova 7i).
The quad-camera setup of both is quite different with few similarities. There is not much comparison here to be fair. Depth sensor of Nova 7i gives a better sense of the space around the object in focus. While the Telephoto shooter lens has a longer focal length and narrow vision field, a great accessory for focusing on the farther object.
When comparing zooming capabilities Oppo reno allows 2x hybrid zoom and up to 10x digital zoom, compare that to approx 2x lossless zoom and 6x digital zoom supported by Nova 7i.

The detailing of both camera setup is quite exquisite, especially in daylight. However, Huawei Nova 7i takes the details to the next level by inclusion of a macro lens that enables focus on closer objects. As a result, closeups taken with Nova 7i ends up with finer details.
When comparing the night mode of both handsets due to more aggressive exposure and advanced AI, shots taken with 7i turns up brighter, exposed and detailed.
As for selfie camera, Oppo reno 3 pro has an upper end because of a camera with higher megapixel and inclusion of a depth sensor in the selfie camera slot.
Now, with photographic capabilities discussed, it is time to move further and compare video capturing aptitudes. Both cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p at 30 fps. However, Nova 7i is not equipped with Electronic image stabilization, so the video will face an increased level of jitteriness. Maybe don't try to walk much when capturing video with Nova 7i.
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 4.2/5
Huawei Nova 7i: 4/5

Nova 7i is powered by a 4200 MAh battery, and Reno 3 pro is armed with a slightly less powerful battery of 4025 MAh. A quick flashback when I was discussing the size of the processor, I remarked a larger chip size makes a processor less efficient. The inefficiency will drain the battery quicker as more energy will be lost as heat.
Nova 7i comes decked with a 40W supercharger, compared to 30W Oppo reno 3 pro charger, that can top up the whole battery from zero in an hour.
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 3.5/5
Huawei Nova 7i: 4.5/5
Build Quality and Structure:
At last, but not least lets swiftly cruise through the Build Quality and Structure comparison. Here Oppo Reno 3 pro takes the lead as it has super AMOLED display.
To increase durability and scratch-resistance of the screen, Reno 3 pro comes equipped with Gorilla glass protector. Compare that to 7i's pre-installed plastic protector which is more prone to scratches and less durable.
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 3.5/5
Huawei Nova 7i: 3/5
Nova 7i provides tough competition to Reno 3 pro in terms of processing power, Camera Quality.
While Nova 7i blows the competition due to low pricing and more efficient battery life.
However, Reno 3 pro takes a slight lead when we talk about Build Quality and Structure and due to availability of GMS.
We have now enough data to provide comprehensive ratings for each phone. Finally, it's time to make the life of budget buyers easier.
After summing up the result, applying appropriate weights and scaling it up to 100. The final scores are as follows:
Huawei Nova 7i: 77.3%,
Oppo Reno 3 pro: 72.7%
